Elder Wyvette Morrison

Elder Wyvette was born with a heart for God. She is the oldest daughter of Pastor and Lady Walsh J. Jackson Jr. As a member of the first family, she learned at an early age what being a servant leader was all about.

Her personal journey began at the age of 8 when she made the choice to accept Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at Hollywood Baptist Church. During her childhood she served faithfully as a Junior Usher and a member of the Youth Choir learning to serve and build her own relationship with God. During this time her father was called and elevated to the office of Pastor and the family moved their membership to Calvary Baptist Church where Pastor and Lady Jackson served for 25 years.

While at Calvary, Elder Wyvette worked diligently beside her parents throughout her teenage years, becoming President of the Young Adult Choir and a beloved Sunday School teacher. She also served on various committees doing whatever was needed to help with the advancement of the Kingdom of God. She remained faithful there through her college years.

After college Elder Wyvette left New York and relocated to the Atlanta area where she met and married Minister Doyle Morrison. God blessed them with children and grandchildren for whom they continue to be guiding lights.

As we grow in God, He builds our testimony equipping us for our Kingdom assignments. No matter what life threw her way, Elder Wyvette remained steadfast in her faith. In August 2012 she preached her initial sermon and was later ordained as an Evangelist in July of 2016 by Apostle Carolyn Harris at Bringing Down The Wall Outreach Ministries in Winnsboro, SC. She has since returned to Georgia and is currently serving under the leadership of Bishops Thomas and Teresa Goggins. She knows God brought her back to grow under these great leaders.

Elder Wyvette continues to preach the Word of God and spread the good news of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Giving God glory, praise, and worship is what she believes she was created to do. Serving God by serving His people.
